What We Do

Housing is just the tip of the iceberg of what we do. We run a number of specialist projects and services to help young people in different ways. We also offer housing advice.

Supported Housing

Our Bristol Supported Housing and South Gloucestershire Supported Housing teams support young people who live in shared houses or self-contained flats which we manage (we are their landlord).

Floating Support

We have Floating Support Teams in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Floating Support is when a young person is not living in one of our properties, for example another housing association or the council, and they need some help to manage on their own.

Live-in Supported Housing

Bristol based emergency, temporary, live-in housing for 16-25 year olds.

Future for Me Project

The Future 4 Me team work across the South West helping young people to resettle in the community after leaving custody or care.

Service User Involvement

Our in-house training programme gives young people we support the chance to learn transferable skills, run events and get experience in an office environment.

Upfront Peer Education

The Upfront Peer Education Projects train young people who have experienced homelessness and/or experienced financial difficulty to run workshops in schools and youth settings to prevent youth homeless and help young people build independent living skills.

Ask Us

Ask Us is a partnership project between 1625ip, ABLC and Citizens Advice to help young people to access local advice services, understand their rights and work towards independence.

Supported Lodgings

Our supported lodgings scheme in Soiuth Glos provides supported accommodation in a private house, with a trained host.

Future Builders

Our innovative new Future Builders project works in collaboration with the OVO Foundation, SGS College and Bristol City Council to support young people aged 16-24 interested in working in the construction industry.

Money Tree

One to one support to help young people improve their financial skills and confidence.

Bristol Youth Links

We work across Bristol City Council Youth Services offering peer support (young person to young person) and advice about homelessness.
